Quality & Technical Excellence Manager

In this key position, you will combine technical leadership, quality expertise and process optimization. You ensure that every product leaving our workshops meets the highest quality standards, while at the same time driving innovation, efficiency and team development. Your responsibilities include:

Job description

  • Lead the technical development and optimization of products, processes and technologies.
  • Support product launches, scale-ups and full-scale production.
  • Solve complex technical challenges with a focus on business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a quality management strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Train, coach and motivate employees to increase quality awareness.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Implement risk management processes and corrective actions.
  • Improve inspection accuracy and monitor systematic top defects.
  • Lead and develop the team on quality and process improvements.
  • Ensure the right product quality at every production step.
  • Minimize the cost of quality (rework, rejects, etc.).
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks that may hinder the achievement of targets.
  • Implement sampling methods and ensure proper application of the Traffic Light System (TLS).

Profile

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in (textile) engineering, industrial sciences, quality engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality and/or technical management, preferably in the garment or textile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS, quality standards and process optimization techniques.
  • Experience with lean, continuous improvement and risk management.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on coaching and intercultural teamwork.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Required: good knowledge of French. English or other languages are strong assets.
  • Willingness to work long-term in Madagascar and contribute to sustainable growth.
