Contamination control range

Designed for the most critical environments where cleanliness, particle control, and compliance with strict industry standards are essential to ensure product quality.

how we work

Demand-driven garments for contamination control

Our garments are developed for controlled environments where contamination cannot be left to chance, from pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing operating under EU GMP Annex 1 to semiconductor, microelectronics and other high-tech industries where particle and electrostatic control are equally critical.

Every component, from the fabric and conductive yarns to the garment construction and fit, is selected to deliver validated performance under defined operating conditions. The result is a garment system that combines effective particle containment, controlled electrostatic behaviour and long-term durability, even after repeated industrial laundering and sterilisation.

Performance is verified using recognised industry test methods and validated garment qualification protocols, including particle containment, electrostatic properties, air permeability, mechanical durability and cleanroom compatibility. This provides confidence that the garment system continues to perform as intended throughout its validated service life, supporting compliance with standards such as ISO 14644 and the principles of EU GMP Annex 1.

Cyclop®

An award-winning innovation
for cleanroom environments

In cleanrooms around the world, people work on innovations that improve our lives. However since Annex 1 requires that facial skin should be covered at all times, the working circumstances inside those cleanrooms have become even more challenging.

Don’t you agree these people deserve an innovation that improves their working lives?

Fabric innovations powering the world's best reusable clean area garments

  • Garments made with alsisandwash are developed using ALSISKIN® technology for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 8 and EU GMP Grade C to D applications. The most widely recognized fabric, globally approved by many leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. Its lightweight makes it ideal for use as the primary layer in aseptic environments.

  • Garments made with movix are developed using ALSISKIN® technology for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 8 and EU GMP Grade C to D applications. This fabric is designed to closely resemble athletic apparel. Its breathable knitted construction provides excellent stretch. The thicker fabric makes it ideal for a slightly warmer, cozy feel.

  • Garments made with resia are developed using ALSISKIN® technology for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 8 and EU GMP Grade C to D applications. The most robust and long-lasting fabric in the collection is also the most sustainable, being entirely made from recycled waste. Thanks to its high filtration efficiency and low-linting properties, this fabric is well suited for use in operating theaters.

  • Garments made with iseo are developed using ALSISKIN® technology for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 8 and EU GMP Grade C to D applications. This fabric is designed to help wearers transition from cotton blends to 100% polyester fabrics, while maintaining a skin-friendly feel and comfortable weight.

  • Garments made with chiaretta are developed using ALSISKIN® technology for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 8 and EU GMP Grade C to D applications. Now, "stretch" is available for cleanroom. This innovative technology provides exceptional freedom of movement while maintaining a fit and athletic appearance. Developed from 35% bio-polyester, its environmental impact is lower than with traditional polyester fabrics.

Reducing cleanroom waste

Alsico's cleanroom garments are designed to be reusable, validated for multiple washing and sterilisation cycles, and manufactured in our own production facilities. This reusable model significantly reduces material waste compared to single-use alternatives, while maintaining consistent contamination control performance throughout the garment lifecycle.

We are also developing cleanroom fabrics containing post-industrial waste. Our latest fabrics, Roca and Carezza, use polyester derived from manufacturing by-products and undergo the same validation and testing as our existing range. When garments reach end-of-life, our closed-loop recycling programme collects and converts them into new raw materials through our ARX circular economy initiative.

30 years of validated performance, trusted by the world’s leading cleanroom industries

In every cleanroom, people are the greatest potential source of contamination. Even the simple act of moving releases microscopic particles, fibers, and electrostatic charges that can compromise sensitive processes or products.

With over 30 years of expertise, we design and produce high-performance cleanroom garments that set new standards in contamination control and regulatory compliance.
